Taranaki Halamoana Hospitality Awards.

In 2014 we look forward to bringing you another amazing awards evening full of entertainment with an emphasis on “Celebrating Hospitality”.

300+ guests will gather on Sunday 19th October 2014 at the Mayfair, New Plymouth, for the Taranaki Halamoana Hospitality Awards Ceremony. The ceremony will be followed by a buffet dinner, live band and celebration. Don’t forget to dress up in this years theme!

The awards evening is an opportunity for the nominees finalists to be acknowledged, congratulated and celebrated by their industry peers.

A committee made up of hospitality staff, suppliers and independent supporters, volunteer their time and services, regularly meeting throughout the year to plan this event. To host this salubrious event in style, the committee rely on sponsors, whose generous contributions in conjunction with ticket sales; facilitate the running of the awards.

The committee thank you in anticipation of your support, and look forward to joining you on Sunday 19th October 2014.

Our Halamoana awards are based on those held in other centres, such as Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Gisborne, but the categories have been chosen to reflect the Taranaki region.

The awards were brought about to recognise hospitality workers who are providing great product and service. To reward them for their outstanding contribution, to challenge them to lift the standards and the profile of the industry, and encourage pride in being part of a worthy profession.

The inaugural event was held in 2006 and in that time the categories have grown. The categories now include a bigger cross section of hospitality establishments.
